Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh pork, cut into thin slices
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 3 c. warm cooked rice
  • 1 c. minced onions
  • 6 ounce. tomato paste
  • 15 ounce. (1 can) pinto beans
  • 1/2 teaspoon grnd cumin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon chili pwdr

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, brown pork in oil over medium heat. Add in onions and garlic pwdr; saute/fry lightly. Stir in tomato paste and water. Cover and simmer about 30 min. Add in beans and seasoning and simmer for 15 min longer. Serve over fluffy white rice.
