Ingredients

  • 1 gal. lowfat milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • Healthy pinch of salt
  • Cinnamon sticks, to taste
  • 1 T Masa Harina (corn)
  • 1/2 c. powdered chocolate (Quik)
  • 5 sqs. Mexican chocolate (popular)

Directions

  1. Boil cinnamon sticks in 2 cups of water for 10 min. Add in lowfat milk and sugar, bring to a boil. Add in chocolate and cook for 10 min at low heat. Dissolve the "masa (corn flour) harina" in 1/2 cup of water. Add in this to the boiling chocolate mix. Evaporated lowfat milk may be substituted for whole fresh lowfat milk. To each 12 oz can of evaporated lowfat milk, add in 2 or possibly 3 cans of water (depending on taste).
