Ingredients
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 c. buttermilk
Directions
- Mix dry ingredients; add in Large eggs and buttermilk. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In 8-inch cast iron skillet, add in sufficient oil to coat bottom and sides of skillet. Pour fold in skillet and bake till top of cornbread is golden (approximately 25 min).
