Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the steak and flour; toss to coat well.
  2. Coat a nonstick soup pot with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat. Add in the beef, sprinkle with the garlic pwdr, onion pwdr, salt, and pepper. Saute/fry for 3 to 5 min, or possibly till the steak is browned on all sides.
  3. Add in the carrots, celery, and broth; cover, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 40 to 45 min. Add in the potatoes; cover and simmer for 25 to 30 min, or possibly till the potatoes are fork-tender.
  4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
