Directions
- Peel potatoes and cut into chunks.
- Put potatoes in a medium pan with enough water to cover; cook on medium heat for 15 minutes or until tender.
- Remove from heat and drain water.
- Add butter and mash potatoes with a fork or a potato masher. Stir in a small amount of milk at a time until the desired consistency is achieved. An electric mixer can be used to whip potatoes if desired.
