Ingredients: 1 1/2 c. shortening; 2 c. brown sugar; 2 Large eggs; 2/3 c. molasses (Brer Rabbit, light mild flavor); 1/2 teaspoon salt; 4 teaspoon soda; 2 teaspoon cinnamon; 1 teaspoon cloves; 2 teaspoon ginger; 4 2/3 c. flour (I use Gold Medal)

1/2 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoon soda

Directions

Roll into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar; bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 min. A good soft cookie.
