Ingredients
- 2 1/2 to 3 pound chicken
- 8 ounce. can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dry whole oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
Directions
- Place chicken in large shallow container. Combine remaining ingredients in a jar; cover tightly, and shake vigorously. Pour marinade over chicken. Cover and chill at least 8 hrs, turning occasionally.
- Remove chicken from marinade, reserving marinade. Grill chicken over medium coals till done. Turn and baste every few min.
