Ingredients

  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 2 cans tomato puree
  • 1 1/2 cups olive oil
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup freshly minced garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 cups finely chopped fresh basil
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Satue garlic in oil and cook lightly for 1 minute.
  2. Add the puree and diced tomaotes and cook over medium heat until just thickened.
  3. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Remove from heat and add basil and parsley. Pan up.
