Posted on November 27, 2016 by The Southern Lady in Breakfast Foods This Maple Pecan Pancake Bake is the perfect recipe for brunch or a family gathering. Instead of standing over the stove making pancakes, you can make a lot at one time. This recipe is very versatile so you can make the pancakes to your liking. We love the combination of maple syrup and pecans topped with bacon! 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1 1/2 cups of bisquick 1 tablespoon of sugar 3/4 cup of buttermilk 1/4 cup of Maple Syrup 1/2 cup of pecans, chopped (optional) 3-4 slices of bacon cooked and crumbled (optional) Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Combine first 6 ingredients in bowl and mix well. Spray 13X9 inch baking dish with cooking spray and then pour in mixture. Bake at 425 for 12 minutes. Add crumbled bacon to top and cook for another 4-5 minutes or until knife comes out clean in the center. Cut into squares and serve with maple syrup on top. Don’t expect this recipe to rise a lot, it is the consistency of a pancake. Makes 6-8 servings. Be sure and PIN for later!    © The Southern Lady Cooks photos and text – All rights reserved.
