Ingredients
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp maple flavoring
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 3 3/4 c. flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
Directions
- Cream together the shortening, vanilla, maple flavoring, brown sugar and Large eggs. In a separate bowl, stir flour and soda together; add in to creamed mix, alternately with lowfat sour cream. Drop onto greased cookie sheets and bake at 350* till brown; don't underbake.
- Icing:6 Tbsp. butter1 teaspoon maple flavoring1/2 c. evaporated milkConfectioners' sugar
- Heat butter and cold to room temperature; stir in maple flavoring and lowfat milk. Stir in confectioners' till icing is thick sufficient. Frost cooled cookies with a thick layer of icing.
