Directions

  1. Cook almonds and sugar over low heat, stirring constantly, till sugar is melted and almonds are coated. Cold and break apart. Store at room temperature. Make the dressing and chill. Tear lettuce into bite-size pcs. Chop celery and thinly slice the onions. Drain the mandarin oranges. Add in everything together and toss. Serves 4.
