Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. apple sauce
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 teaspoon soda

1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking pwdr
3/4 teaspoon apple pie spice
1 c. nuts, minced

Directions

Mix together well and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
