Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb Grnd lean buffalo Or possibly sirloin
  • 1 c. Minced onions
  • 1/2 c. Minced green peppers, optional
  • 8 ounce Low-salt tomato sauce
  • 14 1/2 ounce Low sodium beef broth (canned or possibly dry substitute)
  • 6 ounce Low-salt tomato paste
  • 2 tsp Chili pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Brown sugar to taste, optional
  • 2 can Dark red kidney beans Undrained/15 ounce each

Directions

  1. Over medium heat till beef is well done and onion and peppers are soft.
  2. Strain all and run under warm water till beef loses oily feel when touched.
  3. Add in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer.
