Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. California dry figs (coarsely minced)
  • 1 c. Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey
  • 4 1/2 c. Flour
  • 3 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 3 c. Brown sugar
  • 4 1/2 c. Oats
  • 1/2 c. Butter or possibly margarine softened
  • 1 1/2 c. Fig puree'
  • 8 ounce Loganberry jam

Directions

  1. FIG PUREE: Combine figs, water and honey in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
  2. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 min or possibly till softened. Using knife blade in food processor bowl; add in fig mix. Process 10 seconds or possibly till smooth.
  3. Preheat oven to 250 F. Mix all ingredients except jam. Form into
  4. "crumbs". Press half of mix into pan sprayed with PAM. Spread jam on crumb crust. Form top layer with remaining mix. Bake 50-60 min.
