  1. Boil liver and beef separately till tender. Salt. Grind liver. Mix with liver broth. Pour over flour, onion, sage, pepper and salt. Make a stiff batter. Remove beef from broth. Set aside. Drop batter from tsp. into boiling beef broth a layer at a time. Stir lightly. Cook till done. Add in small pcs of beef back in pot with nips.
