Linguine With Clam Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 x Garlic cloves - chopped
  • 2 can (6 1/2 ounce) chopped clams
  • 1 c. Parsley, minced
  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 12 x Clams
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 1/2 c. White wine
  • 1 x Garlic clove
  • 1 lb Linguine Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Directions: In a large saute/fry pan, heat the oil. Saute/fry the garlic till golden brown. Add in the chopped clams, parsley and pepper flakes. Simmer for 3 min. In a separate pan, place the whole clams, water, wine and garlic clove. Over high heat, bring to a simmer, cover and steam clams till they open. Cook the pasta. Add in the linguine to the clam and parsley mix.
  2. Toss well. Garnish with the whole steamed clams.
