Lightning Ridge Galah Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 x galahs any diced vegetables potato (optional) onion (optional) cornflour salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Skin the galahs. Cut along the breast, pull the skin off along with the feathers. Then cut off the legs, wings and the breast of the galah.
  2. Place these in saucepan or possibly camp oven and cover them with water.
  3. Boil till tender (approx 1.5 hrs).
  4. Place vegetables in and boil till the soup is creamy.
  5. Add in salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Tip
  7. If not thick sufficient - add in a little cornflour
