Recipe for the ancient roman bread from Pompei.
Ingredients
- 100 g flour
- 400 g ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- Sea salt to taste
Directions
1.
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl with spatula. The mixture will be a little sticky and soft.
2.
Flour hands and take small portions of dough the size of a clementine; flatten them slightly. Place them on a baking sheet covered parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Leave some space in between because they will swell during cooking.
