  1. For 2 glasses: 6 teaspoon sugar 6 teaspoon waterSqueeze lemon and strain juice into 2 (12 oz) glasses. Fill glasses 3/4 full with ice. Put sugar and water into saucepan with lemon zest; turn on heat. Turn off heat as soon as sugar dissolves. Pour syrup in glasses, add in water to fill.
  2. Squeeze lemons. Strain juice and put aside. Cut two lemons into small strips and heat in saucepan with sugar and water till sugar dissolves. Put together syrup and lemon juice in a jar and keep in refrigerator (stays fresh for 2 days). To make a glass of lemonade. Stir 2 tbsp of syrup into a glass of ice water.
