Lemon Thym Swordfish

Ingredients

  • 3 (6-ounce) swordfish steaks, 1/2-inch thick, skin removed
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 1 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 1cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon coarse mustard
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 or 4 sprigs of fresh thyme, minced
  • Freshly ground pepper

Directions

  1. Mix lemon juice, mustard, garlic, olive oil, thyme and pepper into small bowl and whisk. Add in the shallot then pour over the sword fish, let marinade for about a half hour at room temperature.
  2. Put 1 Tbsp butter into a frying pan over medium high heat. When the butter is good and hot but not browning, add the swordfish steaks. Cook on both sides until cooked through.
