Was it difficult to open the can of commercially processed bean dip? What if I can't find that brand in my store? Is it okay to substitute cat food instead? What about the canned olives? Is it okay if I buy a can of WHOLE olives and slice them into slivers, instead of rings, just to kick the dish up a notch...oops, wrong chef. The last time I ate my way across Mexico, I did not see a single olive anywhere in my food. Can I omit them without affecting the authenticity of the dish?

Gee, I dunno Chef I guess if you like cat food then knock yourself out! Guess you need to bring your own WHOLE olives and cans of bean dip next time you go to Mexico!

I never said this was authentic Mexican food. It is American party food, where does Layered Taco Dip say anything about authentic Mexican.

I have worked for and with way too many snob chefs like you, that must feel important enough to have to make comments like this. This is a recipe for party food that people in the States and elsewhere for that matter and can make and eat.

Hey, you want to make your own bean dip, go ahead. I am not going to sweat it Daniel, feel free to come up with your own football watching food recipes. And when you post your recipes I cannot wait to see how you employ your dedication to details on them also.

Looking forward to seeing some of your special recipes soon. It is folks like you who like to bring other people down, and I hope you don't treat your employees and students this way, because I am sure that if you do they are talking behind your back about what kind of real person you are.
