Lamb And Macadamia Burgers Recipe

Ingredients

  • 750 gm lean lamb mince
  • 1 tsp chilli sauce, (1 to 2)
  • 2/3 c. finely minced macadamias
  • 1 x clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 x onion, finely minced
  • 3 Tbsp. finely minced mint
  • 1 c. fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 x egg salt and pepper

Directions

  1. 1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Divide mix into 6-8 patties, depending on size of bread rolls. Wet hands with water and shape the mix into patties. Place on a tray, cover, and rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 min.
  2. Note: These patties can also be shaped like a thin sausage and when cooked, rolled in pita bread.
