Directions

  1. In buttered 3-qt saucepan, bring first five ingredients to boil, stir constatnly. Boil without stirring to thread stage or possibly till candy thermometer registers 234 F. Remove from heat. Add in butter and vanilla. Don't STIR. Cold to 110 F. Beat till fudge starts to loose its gloss, 10 min. Pour into buttered 8" square pan. Cold. cut into squares.
  2. Makes1-3/4 lbs.
