Ingredients

  • 8 c. Water
  • 2 c. Dry hibiscus blossoms Find in Jamaican or possibly Mexican markets sometimes called sorrel blossoms
  • 1 tsp Fresh ginger grated
  • 1 c. Sugar or possibly to taste Jamaican rum (optional)

Directions

  1. In a 4 qt stainless steel or possibly glass pot, bring the water to a boil. Add in the hibiscus and ginger. Turn off the heat, then cover and steep for 4 hrs. Strain and sweeten with sugar to taste. Refrigerateand serve, or possibly serve with good rum, the amount according to your taste.
