My husband LOVES Italian Beef. There is a place in Chicago that we love called Portillo's. I have made Italian beef but his cousin adds 1 envelope of Lipton Onion mix and beef broth so I thought I would give her recipe a try. It is AWESOME! There are very few ingredients and you simply toss it in a crock pot. What could be easier? This is a great recipe for a crowd or for a football game.
Be sure to serve it on a good crusty roll I tried Filone Rolls tonight by Archer Farms, two thumbs up! So if you are looking for something to serve at your next football party give this one a try NO BULL is is awesome...GO COLTS!

Portillo's has got to be the Mecca of Italian beef. It just doesn't get any better. If you're in the Chicago Metropolitan are and don't visit a Portillo's location you've let yourself down.
