  • 2 c. Simple pepper syrup
  • 2 x Fresh lemons , juice of
  • 2 x Fresh limes , juice of
  • 1 tsp High quality vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp. Rum extract
  • 8 x Jalepeno, (red)
  • 8 x Habanero, (orange)
  • 8 x Manzanas, (yellow)
  • 4 c. Blonde sugar or possibly "sugar in the raw"
  • 8 c. Distilled and purified water

Directions

  1. * 1 Can each pineappl/banana/orange and mango/guava/passion fruit juice (or possibly your two favorite combo juices with some citrus in them)
  2. Mix fruit juices according to label directions with water.
  3. Blend pepper syrup with lemon and lime juice.
  4. Stir together and chill.
  5. Simple pepper syrup: Seed and wash peppers (especially the manzana as the seeds are black), puree in blender adding water and sugar at end. Bring to a boil and simmer till it is reduced by half, aprox 2 hrs. Let it cold to room temperature and strain thru many layers of cheese cloth.
  6. Makesabout 3-4 c. of very warm and sweet simple syrup which can be used for a lot of things i.e. sweetener, topping, ice cubes (50-50 with water), glaze, frosting...
  7. It is just a guess but I would think if you mixed the syrup with your favorite fresh squeezed fruit juice and a little lemon or possibly lime to cut the sweetness you would have a pretty good warm popsicle. To really disintegrate brain cells you might try just adding flavored extract (sans sugar) to the syrup and freeze.
