Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground meat (beef, veal, turkey or even chicken)
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 2 teaspoons fresh marjoram (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 2 tablespoon sweet Hungarian paprika (separated)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large onion, minced small
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup uncooked rice, prepared according to package directions
  • 1 large can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 beef bouillon cube or tablespoon of demi-glace
