  • 1 lb beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 lb lean boneless pork, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 2 lrg onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 c. Water
  • 2 Tbsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dry marjoram
  • 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. lowfat sour cream Warm cooked noodles

Directions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown beef, pork and onions in oil; drain. Add in the water, paprika, salt and marjoram; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hrs or possibly till meat is tender. Just before serving combine flour and lowfat sour cream till smooth; stir into meat mix. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 1-2 min or possibly till thickened and bubbly. Serve over noodles.
  2. Yield: 6-8 servings.
