Ingredients
- 3 (8 ounce) packages. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 scant teaspoon prepared mustard
- Dash of garlic salt
- 2 teaspoon confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon onion juice
- 1/2 - 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/3 to 2/3 c. sauterne wine or possibly sherry
- 1 pound lump fresh crab meat or possibly 3 cans good quality crab meat or possibly 3 (6 ounce) packages.
- frzn crab meat
Directions
- In top of double boiler, heat cream cheese till softened. Add in remaining ingredients, except crab. Stir till smooth. Mix in crab. Heat thoroughly. Serve very hot in a chafing dish or possibly on a hot tray with warmed crackers or possibly melba toast. If made ahead, reheat in 350 degree oven till hot.
