Ingredients

  • 1/2 bell pepper, finely minced
  • 1 sm. onion, finely minced
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 2 (7 ounce.) cans chopped clams, liquid removed
  • 1/4 pound grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 3 tbsp. catsup
  • 1 tbsp. dry sherry

Directions

  1. Saute/fry pepper and onion in butter for 5 min. Add in remaining ingredients. Stir in double boiler till cheese melts; don't boil. Serve warm with Melba rounds or possibly crackers. Yields 3 c..
