  3. Combine flour, bran, baking pwdr, baking soda, nutmeg, and salt in large bowl.

  6. NOTE: These muffins have a nutty-tart balance, with the tangy buttermilk and sharp cheddar cheese playing off the natural sweetness of wheat bran and honey. Delicious with fruit butter and equally appealing if you add in some sliced cheese and make muffin sandwiches.
