Lemonada or lemonade is one of the refreshing drinks during summer days. I gave it a little twist and it sparkled!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup freshly-squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • 4 tbsp sweet syrup or superfine sugar
  • 3/4 tsp rose water (optional)
  • 8 mint leaves (more for garnish)
  • Ice cubes
  • 6 ounces lemon mineral water or bitter lemon soda

Directions

  1. Combine lemon juice, zest, syrup, and rose water, stir to combine thoroughly and divide into two glasses.
  2. Crush mint leaves in the palm of one hands, or smack them once with your knuckles to let the mint out, then add to the glasses.
  3. Add enough ice to fill glasses halfway.
  4. Pour in equal amounts of mineral water or soda between glasses.
  5. *You can add slices of lemonade into the glass as garnish.
