Ingredients

  • 1 can lg. whole kernel corn
  • 1 can Veg-All
  • 1 lg. can tomato sauce
  • 2 1/2 to 3 cans water
  • 1 med. onion, diced (if preferred)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 med. potatoes, minced
  • 3 pods okra, minced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1/2 to 2/3 tbsp. grnd oregano
  • 1 pod sweet pepper, minced
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • Grnd beef, 2 pound

Directions

  1. Cook grnd beef, don't drain, then add in everything else. Bring to a boil, then let simmer 1 hour to 1 1/2 hrs.
  2. Serve with peanut butter and jelly sandwich or possibly cornbread.
