Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 c. plain flour
  • Healthy pinch salt
  • 1 T baking pwdr
  • 1 pound can Hershey chocolate syrup
  • 1 T vanilla
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. chocolate semi-sweet bits (6 ounce)

Directions

  1. Mix butter and sugar, add in large eggs, add in remaining ingredients and beat well. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
  2. Bring butter, sugar, evaporated lowfat milk to a boil and cook 1 to 2 min. Remove from heat, add in chocolate bits and stir till melted. Pour over cake while warm.
