Herb Butter Basted Turkey Breast

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon dry whole sage, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon dry whole thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dry whole marjoram
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 turkey breast (5 to 5 1/2 lbs.)

Directions

  1. Combine the first 9 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat; set aside. Place turkey breast in a lightly oiled baking pan; baste with butter mix. Cover pan with foil. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hrs, basting often with butter mix. Serves 10 to 12.
