  • Spinach leaves (palak) – 10-12 leaves (chopped roughly)
  • Green chillies – 2 to 3
  • Fresh coriander leaves – 1/2 cup
  • Fresh mint leaves (pudina) – 1/2 cup
  • Cooking oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Mustard seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds (jeera) – 1 teaspoon
  • Bay leaves (tejpatta) -3 to 4
  • Garlic cloves – 10 to 12 (chopped finely or crushed)
  • Onion – 2 (medium sized – chopped finely)
  • Green capsicums – 2 (medium sized – chopped finely)
  • Green peas – 1/2 cup
  • Garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Basmati or plain rice – 1 1/2 cups
  • Lemon juice – 2 teaspoons
  • HOW TO MAKE OR PREPARE HEALTHY GREEN RICE OR PULAO RECIPE
  • Wash and soak basmati rice for half an hour. Drain the water and keep it aside
