Hazel's Sour Cream Raisin Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 pie shell (unbaked)
  • 3 egg whites
  • 6 tbsp. sugar

Directions

  1. Mix sugar, cinnamon, salt and slightly beaten egg yolks, then stir in lowfat sour cream and raisins. Pour into 9-inch unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 min, or possibly till set.
  2. Top pie with meringue made with egg whites and sugar. Mound onto pie and bake till golden brown.
