Ingredients

  • 1 (2 lb.) bag hashbrown potatoes
  • 1/2 c. onion, minced
  • 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 (16 ounce.) carton lowfat sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • Bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Mix all together; put in greased 3 qt casserole (or possibly 2 smaller dishes and freeze one for later). Cover top with bread crumbs and pour butter over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 min.
