  • 8 ounce. 4 c. frzn hash browns
  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1 med. onion
  • 1 (10 ounce.) frzn peas
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 6 slices Velveeta cheese
  • 1 (3 ounce.) can French fried onions

Directions

  1. Butter a 9 x 13 inch pan. Cover bottom pan with hash browns. Brown hamburger and onion; drain fat. Place hamburger on hash browns. Season to taste. Put peas over hamburger.
  2. Mix soup and lowfat milk in a bowl. Pour over potatoes, meat and peas. Place cheese on top. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min. Take out; remove foil. Sprinkle on fried onions. Pat back in oven with heat shut off.
