Ingredients

Cost per serving $0.61 view details
  • 16 ounce boiled ham (rectangular slices)
  • 16 x green onions, cleaned with tops left on
  • 12 ounce cream cheese, softened

Directions

  1. Pat ham slices dry with a paper towel. Spread each slice with cream cheese. Place one green onion at the long edge of the slice, extending the end of the onion slightly past the end of the ham. Roll up; wipe off any excess cheese and trim the ends of the onions even with the ends of the ham. When all are finished, place in the freezer for about 10 min or possibly till hard. Slice each roll into 8 pcs. Serve with toothpicks. Can be made a day or possibly two in advance.
  2. This makes 128 appetizers. It's never sufficient - I usually have to make a double batch. Nobody can each just one!
  3. Transport in a cooler if the weather's a bit too hot.
