Ingredients
- 5 ounce noodles 2 1/2 c. or possibly spinach noodles
- 1/2 tsp coriander
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp garlic pwdr
- 1 lb halibut fillets or possibly steaks fresh or possibly frzn thawed
- 1 Tbsp. minced fresh cilantro or possibly parsley
- 1 Tbsp. minced green onions
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger root
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce or possibly Lite Soy sauce
Directions
- In small bowl, combine coriander, pepper and garlic pwdr. Sprinkle half of mix on one side of halibut.
- In small bowl, combine cilantro, onions, gingerroot, sugar, rice vinegar and soy sauce. Mix well.
- Cook noodles in large saucepan to desired doneness as directed on pkg.
- Drain. Return to saucepan. Cover and keep hot. Meanwhile, heat nonstick skillet to Medium High heat till warm add in fish, seasoned side down, in warm skillet. Cook 2-4 min. Sprinkle rest of coriander mix on top side of fish. Turn fish and cook an additional 2-4 min, or possibly till fish flakes easily with fork. Toss cooked noodles with cilantro mix. Serve noodles with fish.
- Serving Ideas : Good served with Lemony Asparagus Salad
- NOTES : Al doesn't like Spinach noodles, so next time try with regular widenoodles.
- If using Halibut Steaks, may need to cover and steam for an extra minute ortwo to cook through.
