Directions

  1. Mix grnd beef and seasonings; brown. Serve in pita bread, topped with lettuce and cucumber dressing.
  2. I make and substitute fresh pan fried bread for pitas. I use one thawed frzn bread dough loaf and divide it in 6 sections. Each section I roll into an 8-inch circle and brown both sides on a DRY griddle. Wrap breads in a cloth to keep hot and soft till ready to serve. To serve, place meat on round bread, and fold to eat.
