Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. Cocoa Pwdr -- unsweetened
  • 1/4 c. Vegetable Oil
  • 2 lrg Bananas -- ripe
  • 1/2 c. Sugar -- or possibly substitute
  • 2 lrg Large eggs
  • 1 c. Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 c. Nuts -- minced
  • 1 tsp Powdered Sugar -- (garnish- optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine cocoa pwdr, vegetable oil and bananas in a food processor or possibly blender. Puree till smooth; combine sugar, Large eggs, flour and banana mix in a large mixing bowl. Mix till blended, then stir in the nuts. Pour the batter into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan (prepared with non-stick cooking spray) and bake for 15-20 min or possibly till done. Toothpick inserted into center should come out clean. Cut into 24 squares when cold. Lightly sprinkle cooled brownies with powdered sugar before serving.
