Ingredients

  • 1 lb Turkey -- grnd
  • 1/2 c. Onions -- minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Chili pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 can Stewed tomatoes -- (16 ounce)
  • 1 can Kidney beans -- (15 ounce)
  • 3/4 c. Rice -- uncooked
  • 3/4 c. Water
  • 1/2 c. Bell peppers -- minced
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese -- shredded

Directions

  1. In a skillet cook onion and peppers till tender. Add in meat till no pink remains. Add in chili pwdr and salt. Stir in tomatoes, beans, rice, and water. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 20 min. Serve with cheese on top.
