Directions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients for meat crust in a bowl and mix well with a fork. Then pat the meat mix gently into the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9-inch pie plate. This is the crust.
  2. Combine the tomato sauce, water, salt, 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese and mix well. Spoon this pie filling into the meat crust. Cover with foil. Bake in a moderate 350 degree oven for 25 min. Uncover and top with remaining 1/2 c. cheese. Bake uncovered 10 to 15 min longer.
