  • 1 1/4 lb Grnd meat
  • 1 x Egg
  • 2 Tbsp. Finely minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp. Finely minced green pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Tomato ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp. Half-half
  • 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. Ketchup
  • 1/4 c. Water and
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice.
  • 1 Tbsp. Brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestshire sauce
  • 1 dsh Warm pepper sauce.


  1. Stir sauce ingredients and blend well. Add in dash salt and black pepper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine grnd meat, egg and onion. Add in green pepper, soy sauce, and ketchup. Mix half and half and cornstarch. Add in to meat mix, mixing to blend well.
  3. Form portions of meat to even, rather thick meat patties.
  4. Place patties on preheated barbecue grill. Broil 3 to 4 inches from source of heat, basting with sauce and turning patties over from time to time for even browning.
  5. Grill 12-15 min total or possibly to your liking-time depends on how done you like your meat.
  6. Serve meat patties on hamburger buns with French Fries.
  7. Serve reMmin sauce as a side dish.
