Grilled Fruit Loaf With Warm Mixed Berries Recipe

Ingredients

  • 225 gm Packet Frzn Summer Fruits, defrosted
  • 8 tsp Light brown muscovado sugar
  • 1 x Tesco Sliced Fruit Loaf Icing sugar Mint leaves, to decorate
  • 250 gm Mascarpone cheese, to serve

Directions

  1. 1. Divide the fruits proportionately between 4 aluminium foil parcels. Add in 2 tsp. of sugar to each parcel. Place the parcels on the barbecue to hot through.
  2. 2. Put 4 slices of the fruit loaf on the barbecue and grill quickly on each side till toasted.
  3. 3. To serve, place one slice of fruit loaf on each plate and pour the warmed fruits on top. Dust with icing sugar, decorate with a mint leaf and serve with mascarpone.
  4. NOTES : A simple dessert bursting with fruity flavours. Fresh berries are best, but frzn fruits will do just as well.
