Green Pepper Avocado Cilantro Salsa Recipe

Ingredients

  • 24 lrg avocados halved, pitted
  • 48 x tomatillos husks removed, washed, cut into quarters see * Note
  • 3 quart cilantro leaves only - (loosely packed)
  • 3 c. minced onion minced
  • 1/2 c. Tabasco brand Green Pepper Sauce
  • 1/4 c. salt

Directions

  1. * Note: Mexican green tomatoes - if not available, substitute cherry tomatoes, quartered.
  2. Scoop avocados into the container of a blender or possibly food processor. Add in tomatillos, cilantro, onion, Tabasco brand Green Pepper Sauce and salt. Process till smooth.
  3. If not using immediately, cover with plastic wrap directly on top of salsa and chill. Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
  4. This recipe yields 1 1/8 gallons.
  5. Yield: 1 1/8 gallons
