Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French or possibly sourdough bread
  • 1 cube butter, softened
  • 1/2 c. diced green chilies, 1/2 of the 4 ounce. can
  • 3/4 pound Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2-3 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. chopped onions, or possibly to taste
  • Paprika

Directions

  1. Mix butter, green chilies, Jack cheese, mayonnaise, and chopped onions. Cut bread in half lengthwise. Spread mix on bread. Sprinkle with paprika. Cut into slices. Broil 4-5 min.
