Directions

  1. Brown garlic in extra virgin olive oil and throw away garlic. Add in onion, salt and basil. Cook till onion is soft. Add in tomato sauce (or possibly stewed tomatoes) and water and simmer 5 min. Add in beans and cook just till defrosted sufficient to separate. Transfer to greased 1 1/2 qt casserole. Combine crumbs, cheese and minced nuts; spread over top. If you like, dot crumb mix with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 min, or possibly till sauce bubbles and crumbs are browned.
